The best shrimp cheesesteak in the world! I wish everyone can try it. It was very clean, and the owner was very nice. Update 12/23/25: Get their egg and cheese croissant with grape jelly and butter and pair it with their mocha coffee. It’s so yummy. I ate it two days in a row. Owner remembered my name and order. He is very nice. Price is reasonable in this economy. This carryout is very clean.

I just purchased my house in Park Heights, and I've been looking for my "go to" place for awhile, with no luck. Today, I stumbled across Sunshine Carry Out. I did call to make sure they take credit cards (they do), and I was able to place an order over the phone. The man who answered and also rung me up, was very friendly and polite. As soon as I got in the car, I could smell how amazing it was. Our order was 2- egg cheese sausage croissant 2- home fries 1- pancake platter with sausages, home fries, scramble eggs, and 2 pancakes. In total, it was $36 and worth it! So much food. So tasty. So so filling! We'll be back!

The owners are very professional and very friendly. I have seen the owner greet customers by their first names which is awesome! He remembers their favorite foods that they like and is ready to run it up on the register. Awesome food!!!

Clean, comfortable and quick. While the everything behind the plexiglass may not what you want in a restaurant, they do have the choices and the food.

I ordered a fish sandwich. They had real fish and not just a fish square. Best fish sandwich I had in a long time.

The man that served me was super nice, I came up short a few bucks and he made it no issue to let me slide, I will definitely be returning and making sure to leave a tip!!!

I work on Patterson Ave, just off Reisterstown, and I've been looking for some new spots to grab lunch around here. Today I tried Sunshine Carry Out, and I think I have found my new spot. Service was fast and friendly, there was a long line of people ahead of me but we were all served very quickly, and the owner seemed to know everyone - he even remarked about it being my first time there. I got the Cheese Steak combo, and I was really impressed. I grew up in South Jersey near Philly and I can be a bit picky when it comes to Philly Cheesesteaks. I've spent years looking for one in this area that really satisfies me. Today I found it. And the fries were really good too - perfectly seasoned, outside nice and crispy and inside soft so it melts in your mouth when you bite into it. I am definitely going to be going back.

The steak sub was very good. It wasn't busy & I only waited a few minutes. The man taking the orders seems nice. The only issue is they close at 2 pm. So when I'm busy & finally get hungry it's too late.
